Abbotsford’s Forgotten Soldiers From World War One

During the Great War, the local newspaper, the Abbotsford Post published an Honour Roll listing the local men who were serving in the War and noted those who lost their lives.  Some of the latter were not listed on the Abbotsford Cenotaph which was noted in 2014.  Research was done to determine whether these men were indeed from the Abbotsford area and the above named book was written giving their stories. A trip was made to France and Belgium to find the cemeteries with their graves, or their names on the Vimy Ridge and Menin Gate Memorials.  Crosses were placed for them and photographs were taken and these are featured in the book.
